How many months do Home Depot spring seasonal employees work?
I just got hired at Home Depot and I know they’re going to keep some of the seasonal workers (and obviously I’m going to try and stay in) but I was just wondering how long the seasonal employees stay on board in the Spring. In case I don’t get to keep working there I’d like to budget what I make to last the most effectively until I can get employed somewhere else.

I tried to apply at home depot but the manager only spoke spanish. Wth? Why do so many mexicans work at home depot? Guess I’ma start going to Lowe’s.

Some jobs get like that. Mexicans are able to quickly infest a whole a building when they become managers or employers. But since Lowe’s is a little larger they’re less likely to have people only speaking spanish there

Would u hire a day labor from home depot to watch your kids ,if you supporters truly believe all illegals are here better life ? Would you be willing to practice what you preach and would you be willing to show the rest of us how much you trust illegals, as honest , hardworkers ? The same as you say all border hoppers only want a better life ?

No a stranger is just that a stranger. I would pay some of the illegals that I know as babysitters, for that matter I would even say that I know these illegals as trustworthy enough for your kids. Would you hire them based on my recommendations? If not, why? Am I a stranger enough to you as a citizen that you would still not trust me over an illegal.
What is it you want to know? I have employed illegals, housed, feed and clothed illegals too. I have taught some illegals some English, showed them around and introduced them to others. If I am doing this for them, why would I not have trust in some?
Your concern, if I read correctly is that they are illegally present (or is it their nationalities). So would you be willing to walk down to the homeless shelter, market or church pick a body and welcome them into your home in an attempt to know if they are babysitting trust worthy? I think you stand just a good chance of getting a bad soul be they citizens or illegals. But first you have to make an attempt to know who it is your meeting.
As for saying that “all border hoppers only want a better life”, I have never said “all” or have named them “border hoppers”. I have said that some come for a better life but it seems to me that I can see the hatred from your heart in your words. When you close your eyes to what is happening around you and hear what is only that which pleases you then then how can you know what the man next to you wants to accomplish?
Do you think that hiring a unknown citizen would be better than hiring an illegal?

What do you put on an indoor inclosure roof besides home depot and lowes junk?
I just moved to FLA. and the heat down here is high. Should I use motor Home sealant? The top is about an inch in metal, with foam inside. (The home depot and lowes products don`t last for anything)

Pauly, go to the yellow pages ( or search engine) and find a siding/roofing supply house. They will sell you what you need. Be aware that coatings alone don’t last long and the products from the big box stores may be the same as the supply house but at a better price. Go to Home Depot first and talk to an associate in building materials ( IF you can find one) write the name and price of their products that are recommended there. Next go to the supply house and see what they recommend ( usually commercial grade sealer), if the same product as HD get a price and buy where it’s the best price if the same product.

How should I handle returned item with Home Depot?
I bought a very expensive shower tub fixture and got it home and found out it was already used with water spots, plumbers putty and scratched brushed nickle finish. Yes, I should have checked box before buying it but I didn’t……I am returning it today. Will Home Depot think I scratched it? How can I prove I didn’t? Should I not even mention it and just say I want to return item? How would you handle it?

I deal with home depot on a daily basis and I have ALWAYS been treated fairly there.Take your receipt and the product back and go to the returns desk and there should not be a problem.
